A cultural experience and perhaps a chance to talk elephants in London.
Through Anantara Hotels Resorts & Spas we are participating in Elephant Family's Elephant Parade (we have an elephant called Little Bird in a not-too-secret location somewhere in London, at some point there may be a competition for the first person to send me a photograph of themselves with her - first prize being dinner with me, second prize being, you guessed it, two dinners with me).

We are far from the only range states participants in this event, which is designed to raise money for and draw attention to the plight of wild elephants and the work being done by elephant family, and the Asian herd (as we are collectively known) have been skillfully arranged by Bangkok Fashion house Lotus Arts de Vivre.
To celebrate the parade and to showcase their work they are holding an exhibition with an opening cocktail party on the 9th of this month, if you want to go & talk parading elephants, please go along:

For those of you who can't see it, the text reads:

Unfortunately we could not get to London in time to see Little Bird in situ - but we did keep an eye on the bid price when she came up for auction. She made an incredible £10,250 for the asian elephant charities - a fantastic result.
In total, an amazing £4,148,675 was raised during the event!

Great spying Mike - that's a great result for the wild elephants of Asia & I'm proud Anantara had a chance to help.
