At last, competition in the cute department (the gardeners' new arrival)
...for too long our little betrunked wonders have ruled the roost in the being cute stakes, well now, at least on the Anantara side, a little competition has arrived (not my new little tractor - though I am finding lots of excuses to play with that) but a brand new plough puller has arrived.
Mum's proud but I'm not sure Dad's too happy as it means he has to do all the ploughing - the big, black, powerful buffalo grew up in a rich neighbourhood and refuse to work.
If it counted as a rustic spectacle I am sure my little tractor and I would be happy to help with the ploughing but then someone might notice I'm not performing my real duties when I'm designing elaborate drainage schemes for the elephant camps (or, as some might put it, splashing about in puddles with my new toy).
