If you're going to San Francisco be sure and watch TV (another VCR date)

From the perspective of a non-San Franciscan, for the boys at least, the days of wearing flowers in your hair (no longer long and shaggy) are over - or at least they've stopped writing songs about you; these days it seems you gentle people drink excellent wine and wear good (if not sensible) shoes.

I have already told you about Nam Chok's 'parents' Carolyn and Perry Butler and their gargantuan efforts on behalf of our eles in other messages; the Rescue label wine from their Juslyn vineyards, the exclusive Elephant Rescue high-heeled shoe from Foot Candy.

Well, those of you in the Bay Area will now have a chance to have Perry tell you all about it personally, he will be on KRON 4 Weekend Morning News this Saturday (07,07,07 - possibly the most auspicious date since the ninth of September '99) at around 7.45am.  Watch!

For those of you gentle people still involved in your love-ins you'd better set the VCR as I doubt you'll be up.

Tireless as they are, Perry and Carolyn have even put together a website which tells their ele story and encompasses all the work they are doing, www.elerescue.org, so please take a look around - the full story from a San Franciscan perspective is there!
