Noteable by their absence: K. Lord, Pa Nang and K. Som (who are in hospital with K. Som who is recovering from a very serious illness GET WELL SOON), Pang Pounlarb, Nong Lynchee and K. Weera (ran off to hide in the grassland just seconds before - camera and big elephant shy, we have found them again, don't worry), Plai Boun Liang (in musth and so on his paradise island not 50 yards from this photo), K. Oil and K. Saeng (don't know where they were) and of course all the mahout wives and children who give the camps such character and keep us all under control.
